Floriana Filip is a member of Romanian Society for Automation and Technical Informatics, teacher at Polytechnic University of Bucharest (Faculty of Computer Science) and member of the Girl Guide Romanian Association (NGO) – responsible of a 14-18 aged girl group. Furthermore, she is computer teacher at the No. 186 Primary School in Bucharest.
She activates as a volunteer at the Sf. Sofia Centre in Bucharest and at an orphanage founded by priest Nicolae Tanase, in the village of Valea Plopului.
She was the coordinator of the educational program PHARE – Tempus, Manager of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Dialogue (Polytechnic University – Bucharest) and project evaluator in the European training program, Leonardo da Vinci.
She has a rich publishing activity in the field of medical informatics.
