Cecilia Guran

She graduated from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest in 2003, taking her degree in Computer Science – Software Section.
With an experience of over 10 years of graphic design for visual identities, rebranding and marketing materials, she had the opportunity to develop unique and interesting concepts involving the laying out and the creating of the prototype.
She was active in the handmade business during many years; she was inspired by her mother, who was a clothing pattern maker with large experience in this field.  
While she was a graphic designer, in 2010 she started the project Vixyblu, where she presented lots of DIY creations, (DIY- Do It Yourself), helping lots of people to develop the ability to create and handle practical objects.
The public interest for these tutorials has led to multiple and fruitful collaborations, one of them being the “Atelierul” magazine, the only magazine of handmade in Romania.
